How It Works
Life Bridge Community Chaplains:
- Operate on a voluntary basis
- Wear clearly branded, professional identification
- Are trained in pastoral care and equipped to respond with empathy and discretion
- Work within agreed hours and guidelines set in collaboration with centre management
- Are insured by and accountable to their sponsoring local church.

What’s Required from the Centre?
Our needs are minimal. We simply ask for:
- Permission to be present regularly in shared public areas (e.g. food courts, corridors)
- A central point of contact for coordination
- Optional use of a small space (if available) to meet privately with individuals seeking support
We provide all training, uniforms, and ongoing oversight—your team doesn’t need to manage anything. Insurance is covered by the sponsoring local church.
Having someone just to talk to, who wasn’t trying to sell anything or push an agenda, really helped me on a tough day.
